Show Description

Close Reads, hosted by Corey and Madeleine, highlights and analyzes outstanding creative writing at Queen’s University, drawing from student publications such as Quilt, Collective Reflections, and The Undergraduate Review. Our goal is to highlight the accomplishments of authors and poets here at Queen’s and to apply the close reading skills we have learned in classes to a creative passion project.

If you’re hoping to listen back to our previous episodes, our show makes up the first 30 minutes of each of the hour-long recordings on this page, as long as the recording is on or after October 4th (the day that our pilot aired!).
